About

Presented by the Pacific Northwest Veterans Assistance Program and sponsored by Gold Star Families of Washington, this inspiring event showcases the therapeutic power of art in the lives of veterans. Honored guest, US Army, LTC (Ret.) John Hosey, will be joined by special guest speaker Michael Reagan, an artist renowned for his work with the Fallen Heroes Project, reconnecting families through heartfelt portraits.

The featured artist is Jake Powell (pictured above), a Marine veteran who served as an infantry squad leader in Afghanistan. Powell's art provides a therapeutic reprieve from the symptoms of PTSD, offering an immersive experience that helps empty his mind of negative and stressful thoughts.

Come witness the healing power of creativity and support our veterans as they share their journeys through art.
