Each February, Trinity Lutheran Church & Schools honors Black History Month by celebrating the history, culture, and contributions of Black Americans. The Diversity and Inclusion Ministry team highlights the work of Black and other composers and artists of color, inviting reflection through their hymns, songs, and artwork.

This week, we sing "Give God All the Praise," composed by Mark A. Miller. Known for his emphasis on community building and social justice, Miller's music resonates deeply with faith communities worldwide. With degrees from Yale and Juilliard, Miller serves as a Professor of Church Music at Drew University and Minister of Music at Christ Church in Summit, NJ. His compositions, including works like "Let Justice Roll," inspire hope and advocacy for equity.
