This week, in our "Beguiled by Beauty” worship series, we're diving into the theme of Abyss, Mystery, and Wonder, exploring how God’s beauty often reveals itself in the unknown and unnamable. In this week’s Contemplative Practice, spend some time in God's creation, finding joy in the mystery of nature. Just as Dr. Wendy Farley discusses in the week's video, sometimes the most profound connections with God happen when we embrace the things we can’t fully understand. As we venture outside, we’ll discover that nature invites us to play, reflect, and find God’s love in every leaf, stone, and breeze.

Weekly Contemplative Practice for Young Worshippers (of all ages!!)
Contemplative practices are like special ways to talk and listen to God. It's like having a quiet time with a good friend where you share your heart and listen to what they have to say. We can find God in everything around us, and these special ways help us to notice and appreciate God's love.
These weekly exercises are written for and used as the Young Worshipper’s message during the Sunday worship gathering, but are great for all ages!
Video Interview with Wendy Farley
Each week, the Sunday Adult Faith Formation class will be watching a ~30min video interview with the author of Beguiled by Beauty, Wendy Farley that explores the weekly themes of the series.
Check out this week’s video:
After watching, check out the Guided Reflection Journal, which has prompts and questions for contemplation and reflection on the week’s themes:
