Did anyone catch a glimpse of the year 2024 as it flew past?

Breakfast was served by Team Trinity this morning. It's been a while since Trinity cooked. We had to retrain ourselves to roll and wrap burritos 🙂The menu included sausages, hash browns, fruit juice and French toast as well burritos. We served 112 hungry Neighbors.
Our pantry handed out 66 grocery bags, 1 family box, and nutrition for 3 dogs. It's not just the green grocery bags that contain at least a weekend's supply of non-perishables. Notice the bounty of breads, peanut butter, salads, sandwiches and fruits that supplement the bagged groceries. This is all thanks to Edmonds Food Bank, Advocates For Recovery, Franz Bakery, and Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Church. Our pantry team are customer service pros! "What's your favorite soup? Chunky or creamy peanut butter? What's your favorite salad? Would you like bagels or sliced bread? That's mora than customer service, it's a lot of genuine heart.
It was a busy, yet companionable morning. May the mutuality continue!
