SUNDAY WORSHIP GATHERING

All Saints Sunday

November 3, 2024 at 10 AM

Bring photos of deceased loved ones for the Table of Remembrance.

On All Saints Sunday, we gather in the mingling of sorrow and hope, carrying both grief and the memory of those who have gone before us into God’s arms. We remember that each life, each saint, is held in God’s eternal love, and in this remembering, we are knit together as one. Today we honor the unbreakable bond between us and the saints—a bond held across time and place. And we acknowledge that God, who understands our grief, welcomes us in our mourning, weaving our tears into the greater promise of joy.

At the table of communion, we taste the promise of a coming feast, a celebration beyond tears where love endures, vibrant and whole. This meal today is but a foretaste—a reminder that in Christ, even death cannot separate us from God’s love. We celebrate that great cloud of witnesses, and with them, we dare to hope in a world where grief gives way to gladness, sorrow to dancing, and tears are no more.

🕯️ All Saints Day Worship - Nov. 1

🕯️ All Saints Day Worship - Nov. 1

Friday, November 1 at 6:30 PM - in person & online

All Saints Day celebrates the baptized people of God, living and dead, who are the body of Christ. This service is intended to spend time together and comfort one another; to remind each other that death is real, but so are resurrection and life.

We gather to remember those who died, and to accompany one another as the Spirit works healing and wholeness. And we gather for worship with the hope of life in the Lord Jesus who accompanies, strengthens and reminds us that death has been defeated and that we will one day be reunited with our loved ones.
