TLCS is part of the NW Washington Synod of the ELCA, which will not hold a usual Synod Assembly this year. However, in order to foster fellowship, partnerships, and equipping the saints, the synod has organized Synod Gatherings and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
The gatherings will offer an array of topics related to service, mission, and administration of the congregations and they are open to every member of congregations in the synod.
As you know, TLCS is committed to equip the saints for the sake of ministry as a way to build up, belong, and become the congregation that God needs in this place. Also, the congregation was committed to support and the development of leaders/disciples by investing in people.
Participants will be encouraged to share their learning (written or during the generosity moment) telling how it can support the mission and ministry of TLCS. Therefore, nine scholarships will be available to cover the registration fee.

May 13 at Salem Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon (8:30am-3:30pm)
May 20 at Saint Andrew's Lutheran Church in Bellevue (8:30am-3:30pm)
