Study & Adult Faith Formation
learning & becoming.
Dive
Deeper.
Spiritual development is at the very heart of the church.
On our journey of becoming the whole people of God, Trinity encourages adults to study the scriptures, engage in faith practices (meditation, prayer, fasting, etc.), and engage intentionally in impactful relationships with one another to support each other on life’s journey (small groups and/or engage in a coaching partnership).
Explore Adult Faith Formation offerings below, or contact David Greenlee with questions, suggestions, or for more information.
"Be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God — what is good and acceptable and perfect." - Romans 12:2
Pathways to Discipleship.
In forming faith, we know that people learn differently and grow at different paces in their faith lives. Pathways to Discipleship is meant to give individuals and households the opportunity to experience faith learning in the style that works for them. It also challenges everyone to step out of their preferred style and try a new way to form their faith.
The three pathways offer different ways to engage with faith formation on the path to discipleship:
-
Head - knowledge-based activities such as text and book study
-
Heart - nurturing relationship with one another and with God through retreats, meditation, worship and prayer
-
Hands - doing the work of discipleship by serving others in various ways
